As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to share how truly grateful we are for each and every one of you—our customers, supporters, and the community that makes everything we do possible. Old Whaling Co. exists because of your belief in what we create, and it’s not something we ever take for granted.
Running a small, family-owned business means that the lines between work and home are always fluid. It’s not just a job—it’s part of who we are. Every milestone, every challenge, every decision we make is woven into the fabric of our family life. We’re keenly aware of what that means—the sacrifices, the celebrations, and the constant balancing act—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s all worth it when we see the joy our products bring to you and your loved ones.
This Thanksgiving, we’re looking forward to a little pause—time to celebrate with family, catch up on our own Christmas shopping, trim the tree (we decided to go for a real one this year!), and lean into the traditions that make this season so special. And, of course, we’re excited to welcome you into the holiday spirit with our Black Friday sales which this year we’re starting early…on Thanksgiving evening at 6pm!
Whether you’re stocking up on your favorites, picking out gifts for those you cherish most, or treating yourself (you deserve it!), we hope our products will add comfort and joy to your season. There’s a tiny chance we will actually get our own holiday shopping done before December 24 which would truly be a Christmas miracle.
